About counselling
What is counselling?
Counselling is a safe place to think clearly about your issues and to explore them in a confidential and non-judgemental environment giving you the time and space to discuss your issues.
The time is yours to talk about whatever is troubling you and I will help to guide you through the issues in an empathic and supportive way. To enable you to help yourself, by understanding your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. To regain the balance and lead a happier life.
People come to counselling for many different reasons
- Stress is a common issue and can present itself in many ways such as anxiety, panic attacks, mild depression, poor sleep, addictions, obsessive behaviour, illness and breakdown.
- Relationships/Families: Sometimes it difficult to maintain a healthy relationship. Dealing with partners can be confusing, overwhelming and disappointing leading to arguments and a general unhappiness.
How can counselling help?
Sometimes being able to talk to someone confidentially can help you to off load your problems and issues in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Maybe by exploring what's troubling you we can look at what choices are available to you.
